WASTE TRANSFER STATIONS - OPENING TIMES
Winter: 1 October - 31 March
Monday – Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm
Saturday 8.00am - 4.00pm
Sunday 9.00am - 4.00pm
Summer: 1 April - 30 September
Monday – Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm
Saturday 8.00am - 4.30pm
Sunday 9.00am – 4.30pm
Charlton Lane Waste Transfer Station and Leatherhead Waste Transfer Station are open until 6pm from Monday to Friday
Sites are closed 3 days a year: Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
PLEASE NOTE: SWM is entitled to close the Waste Transfer Stations to commercial waste at short notice.

COMMERCIAL WASTE NOT ACCEPTED AT THE WTS’S
Examples of waste that Waste Transfer Stations do NOT accept:
· Clinical waste
· Liquid Waste
· Most types of hazardous waste
· Tyres
· Chemical waste
Please contact the site in advance to check if the site will be able to accept your waste under the site licence. Contact numbers are above.
For other information on hazardous commercial waste collections please contact SITA UK HazXchange Services on 0870 421 1122.
Surrey Waste Management is unable to accept waste from businesses without a Waste Carrier’s Licence or exemption certificate. Persons who transport waste in the course of their business need to be registered as a Waste Carrier with the Environment Agency.

MATERIAL RECOVERY FACILITY (MRF)
SWM operates a MRF facility on behalf of Surrey County Council to sort and bail a wide range of materials.
The MRF is located at Charlton Lane in Shepperton, Middlesex, TW17 8QA.
