Surrey Waste Management has submitted a planning application to build an energy-from-waste facility at the Clockhouse Quarry in Capel to help deal with household waste generated in Surrey. A planning application for a further energy-from-waste facility at land adjacent to Trumps Farm, Longcross, near Chertsey will be submitted to Surrey County Council in Summer 2008. You can find out more about these applications by clicking on Capel and Trumps Farm.
